Dr. Alice Gaya is the founder of Norma Center. She is a leading social anthropologist with extensive experience in social and cultural research. Holding a doctorate from Ben Gurion University of the Negev, her groundbreaking work on identity formation within families in conflict-ridden societies has garnered international appreciation and prestigious praise. Alice has presented her research at numerous international conferences worldwide, from the University of Berkeley in the USA to the University of Tokyo in Japan.
Dr. Gaya brings a wealth of multidisciplinary expertise, coupled with a strong background as a lecturer and research assistant at prominent universities. In recent years, she has conducted complex qualitative research for various esteemed institutions.
Idan Shavit is an expert lectuer with extensive and diverse experience in nonformal education and innovative pedagogy. He holds a master’s degree in educational administration and policy, as well as a bachelor’s degree in special education and non-formal education.
Idan has held significant positions as a lecturer, consultant, and a coordinator in the Ministry of Education and teacher training colleges. He has spearheaded think tanks aimed at advancing future-oriented learning and pedagogical innovation within the Ministry of Education. Additionally, he has served as the director of youth units and coordinator of nonformal education. His international experience includes training and teaching engagements in Bulgaria and the USA.
At the Norma Center, Idan conducts workshops and supports organizations in developing innovative programs and pedagogies. Among his activities, Idan offers unique training workshops and support for educators focusing on integrating artificial intelligence education. These workshops include introductions to advanced technological tools and innovative pedagogical approaches. He also provides workshops, training, and support on various topics such as outdoor education, educational program writing, professional assistance in fostering pioneering learning environments, playful learning, development of educational leadership, self-directed learning, and more.
Yonatan Ben-Ami is an analyst and social research expert, renowned as the founder of Researches.co.il. He has provided invaluable assistance to hundreds of researchers and research institutions in conducting qualitative and quantitative analyses and constructing statistical models. Jonathan holds a bachelor’s degree in Bible and literature and a master’s degree in business administration (MBA).
At the Norma Center, Yonatan leads quantitative research section and provides support in complex quantitative analyses, statistical model building, and planning academic studies. In his leisure time, Jonathan enjoys long-distance running, hiking in nature, and managing a digital asset management company.
